The Sensex remains firm; it’s up 177 points at 17,037. The Nifty is also steady at 5052, up 40 points.
Hindalco has gained 4.9% to Rs 183.50, Reliance Infra is up 4.6% to Rs 1,420. Jaiprakash Associates is also up 4.3% to Rs 257.

The Sensex is stable at 17,012 points, up 151. The Nifty too is trading at 5045 points, up 32.
Jaiprakash and Hindalco are trading 4.3% higher at Rs 257 and Rs 183 respectively. Reliance Infra is up 3.5% at Rs 1,404. Tata Steel, Satyam, DLF and ICICI Bank are up 2% each.
